Mr. P. Y. Sreekumar served the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in the Computer Centre with dedication and technical expertise. He began his journey on 26 August 1994 as a Junior Systems Engineer, playing a key role in supporting and maintaining the institute’s computing infrastructure. On 26 August 2004, he received a financial upgradation under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme (MACPS) while continuing in the role of Junior Systems Engineer. His career progressed further when he was re-designated as Assistant Engineer (Systems) on 26 August 2006. On 22 March 2010, he was appointed as Technical Officer Grade I, marking the culmination of his service career in a senior technical capacity.
