Sri Rama Rao. T joined the services of the Institute as Key Punch Operator on 30th April 1981. He was promoted as Senior Key Punch Operator in April 1989 and as Senior Data Processor (SG) in April 1997 by the first and second cycles of review under the Recruitment and Career Development Scheme. He was re-designated as Senior Superintendent in May 1998 under the Recruitment and Career Progression Scheme. He was given the third financial up gradation in September 2008 under Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme.

In 2007, he was transferred to Finance & Accounts Section. In 2008 he was transferred to Centre for Industrial Consultancy & Sponsored Research. Since then he has been looking after the salary payment to all Project Staff and has been involved in other computer related activities.

Sri Rama Rao has been very helpful, cooperative and has maintained a cordial relationship with everyone. He has taken meticulous care in executing the work assigned to him and has always performed the work assigned to him with a smile.

The Faculty Staff and Students of IIT Madras in general and the Centre for Industrial Consultancy & Sponsored Research in particular wish Sri Rama Rao a long, happy, prosperous future and success in all his endeavours.
